REPRODUCTION
-return to canada to breed
-start mating at a year old
-lays eggs april-may
-often with different mates
-average of 6 eggs
-16 day incubation period
- leave their parents after 6 weeks.

The Short-eared Owl status is due to its breeding habitat allowing predators to steal its eggs.
